 All programs are held at the University of Western Ontario - Thompson Arena

Phase 1: Ages 4-7

Hockey players will be divided into 3 groups by their skill level. Instruction will be with one session of skating skills with video. Also, a hockey session with scrimmage everyday Monday – Friday. Skaters are to bring their own lunch (supervised) with a snack and drink every day. No peanuts products allowed. Afternoon activities: will include Swimming 3 times per week, Track , Laser Quest, Soccer and Golf. All skaters must have full hockey equipment, running shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothing.

Phase 2/3: Ages 8-12

Hockey players will be divided into 3 groups by their skill level. Instruction will be with one session of power (forward three turns, Mohawk, Parallel one foot side stops skating skills with video. Hockey session with puck handling, shooting skills, checking skills and scrimmage everyday Monday – Friday. Skaters are to bring their own lunch (supervised) with a snack and drink every day. No peanuts products allowed. Afternoon activities: will include Swimming 3 times per week, Track, Laser Quest, Soccer and Golf. All skaters must have full hockey equipment, running shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothing.

Phase 4/5: Ages 12-15

Hockey players will be assessed by our skating and hockey staff and grouped by their skill and age level. Instruction will be with two session of power skating (forward and backward three turns, Mohawk, Parallel one foot side stops skating skills. Most of these drills will be skating with a puck and video. Hockey session with puck handling, shooting skills , checking skills and scrimmage everyday Monday – Friday. Off ice conditioning will be provided every day. Skaters are to bring their own lunch (supervised) with a snack and drink every day. No peanuts products allowed. Afternoon activities: will include additional hockey skills, or option Swimming 3 times per week, Track, Laser Quest, Soccer and Golf. All skaters must have full hockey equipment, running shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothing.

Summer Learn to Skate Camp: Ages 3-12

All programs are held at the University of Western Ontario - Thompson Arena (Skate & Swim or Skate & Gym) This program is a half day program running from 12:30 – 4:00p.m. Monday – Friday during the month of July. The skating program follows with either Gym (our staff), Swimming (days offered) which is run by the university lifeguard staff which also assisted by our instructors at the pool. Life jackets will be provided as well as all swimmers will be tested at the beginning of the pool session. Late Pickup: We provide late pickup (4:00 – 5:00 p.m.) The cost is $5.00 per day. Please provide the following: Swimsuit, skates hockey helmet, mitts, towel, change of clothing, running shoes and snacks.
